Itinerary

Day 1Arrive Casablanca

Meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel

Day 2Casablanca-Rabat

Visit the mosque Hassan II to explore its unique architecture and learn about its history. See Rick’s Cafe and drive to Rabat. Visit the most interesting sites of Rabat which includes the Kasbah Oudaya ; the fort of victory built by Almoravid dynasty in the 11th century, Hassan tower and the Alouite Mausoleum.

Day 3Rabat-Tanger-chafchaouen

After breakfast drive to Tanger. We can make a stop in the coastal city of Asilah. In Tanger, Visit Cape spartel, and Hercules caves. Drive via the Rif Mountains and Tetouan before we arrive to Chafchaouen.

Day 4 Chafchaouen

Today, we will have time to walk around in the old medina center. Visit the beautiful colorful alleys and the market. You have a chance to have lunch in one of the local restaurants there overlooking the medina center/square. In the evening, walk to the Spanish mosque to enjoy a nice view of the city and probably watch the sunset.

Day 5Chafchaouen-volubilis-meknes-Fes

After breakfast, we depart for the glorious city of the 8th century Fes. You have the chance to a visit of the ruins of Volubilis. It is one of the old cities of that was influenced by the existence of the Romans in north of Africa in all forms of life. A city that provided a lot of agricultural products to Rome such as olive oil, olives, vegetables, wheat, and the famous Cedar wood.  later on, we will be driving to visit the 17th century capital Meknes. See its beautiful gate Bab Mansour, the granaries, and the reservoir of water Seouani. After, we will drive to Fes, check in to your hotel/Riad.

Day 6 Fes visit

After breakfast in your riad, you will start exploring Fes “the Spiritual City of Morocco”. You will spend the whole morning exploring the Medina and its alleys. Visiting most of the sites with cultural and historical interest. Including the Medrasa Bouanania, the Tanneries, the famous Al Karaouine Mosque and University which is said to be the oldest one in the wolrd. After lunch, we will drive you outside the Median to see the Royal Palace gate, walk through the Jewish quarter “the Mellah”. And then visit the pottery cooperative. In the afternoon, we will drive you to one of the fortresses to experience an amazing panoramic view of the whole Medina of Fes.

Day 7Fes-Ifran-ouzoud waterfalls

Drive via the middle Atlas Mountains to ouzoud Waterfalls. Stop in Ifran, referred to as “the Switzerland of Morocco ” after continue through other villages and towns to Ouzoud waterfalls while making stops for pictures for sure.

Day 8ouzoud waterfalls- Marrakech

Have free time to explore the waterfalls where you are supposed to see the monkeys. Have a chance to take a boat to get closer to the high waterfalls.

Day 9May 12 Marrakech visit

The entire day is devoted to exploring the famous city of Marrakech. The second oldest Imperial city which has for centuries been an important stop for traders and travelers. Your tour will include the famous Jardin Majorelle, the Bahia Palace and the Saadian tombs. Visit the Koutoubia Mosque, with its 66-metre-high minaret dominating the center of Marrakech.  In the afternoon visit Djemaa El Fna Square, the center square of the medina. The square comes alive by sunset and through night with local storytellers, musicians, entertainers, snake charmers.

Day 10May 13 Marrakech-Essaouira

Today we will set off to the coastal city of Essaouira, a picturesque fishing town, lying on the southwest coast of Morocco. Along the way, watch for the famous tree-climbing goats, which signal your entrance into Morocco’s Argan region! With an exquisite beach to the south. Option to visit a women cooperative of argan oil to see how the make argan oil for cosmetics, food and other products.

Day 11Essaouira

Essaouira has become one of Morocco’s most popular coastal towns, so you will have a local visit to explore this beautiful relaxing town, walk through the colorful streets and marketplaces. showcasing some of Morocco’s handmade artisanal gems
Many of the country woodcarvers and artists make Essaouira their home. Essaouira is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and former Portuguese colonial town which bears the traces of its long and varied history. Also visit the port to see fishermen with their boats and locals buying fresh fish in the place. Option to take a boat for a while there.

Day 12Essaouira-Marrakech

Today you may want to visit Sidi Kaouki beach which is about half an hour driving from Essaouira. Possibly after you have time to enjoy your lunch somewhere you prefer before we head to Marrakech.

Day 13 Airport transfer

Transfer you to the airport according to your flight’s time.
