Pick you up from your Hotel/riad and start our 3 Days Tour From Marrakech To Merzouga Desert. We will travel through the Tizi n Tichka pass ( 2260m) with a spectacular view of a serpentine road in the High Atlas Mountains. Arrive to Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah which is a UNESCO world heritage sight. It’s one of the most preseved Kasbahs in the South of Morocco which reflects the achitecture of this area since centuries. The Kasbah has attracted many film makers so that’s where they shot many movies including Lawarence Of Arabia, Game Of Thrones. Afterwards, drive to Ouarzazat famous for several cenema studios and the standing Taourirt Kasbah. Later on, we continue our 3 Days Tour From Marrakech To Merzouga Desert via Skoura oasis and Rose city (Kelat M’gouna) before we arrive to Dades.
After breakfast at you hotel, we start our journey to Merzouga. We head first to Todra Gorges which is said to be one of the most spectacular canyons around the world. Have some time to walk in the river which has carved out cliff-sided canyons. On the way into or out of the gorges, you will see what remains of old kasbahs, palm groves, and probably farmers in their fields. Afterward, we will be driving through other Berber towns and villages to Erfoud. This smal city is the gate to the desert and the area was once covered by the sea million years ago. So it’s an international popular destination for geologists, and scholars from all over the world who specialize in paleontology. Arrive to Merzouga where your camels wait for you to start your camel trekking over the dunes. After dinner you listen to some Berber music around campfire with the camp staff. Overnight at your equipped desert camp.
Today you can wake up early to see what might be the best sunrise ever from Erg Chebbi dunes. After shower and breakfast, get prepared to start our journey. We will drive via Rissani, Alnif, and other Berber villages before we arrive to Daraa Valley. It’s one of the biggest palm grove oases in Morocco, so we will be stopping for pictures. Cross the Anti-Atlas Mounatins offering spectacular views before we arrive to Ouarzazat. You can have lunch at Ouarzazat before we continue through the high Atlas Mountains to Marrakech.
