Rabat as the capital of the kingdom stands to be a good place for spending your day trip. A walk in the old medina is worth the try along with a visit to the mosque Hassan II which was intended to be the biggest mosque in the kingdom, but when the Sultan Abu Youssef Yaqub Al-Mansur , the third Caliph of the Almohad Caliphate , died in 1199 then the construction on the mosque stopped. That’s when the tower reached about its itended height.
