Fes – Volubilis – Chefchaouen
Start your imperial cities tour morocco . Drive via Meknes, of the four imperial cities where you can see the famous gate Bab Mansour. From there continue to Volubilis, the old preserved roman city. You can have a visit to this old roman ruins and learn about the existance of the Romans in Morocco. After that, drive to Chafchaouen through the Rif Mountains. We will drive through fertil land and different villages. Arrive to the blue city of Chafchaouen, and have a wonderful view over the city. Afterwards, we check in to your hotel and you will have some free time to walk through the colorful alleys and also in the main square.
Chefchaouen – Akchour – Tanger
After breakfast at your hotel. We will make sure you that you see the most interesting corners in the blue city. After that, we start our journey and we head to Akchour located in the Rif Mountains as well. You will see amazing waterfalls of Akchour. You will have the chance to hike in order to see the main waterfalls. After that we continue our journey and drive to Tanger in the North of Morocco.
Tanger – Asila – Rabat
Today we start our day by visiting Hercules Caves, The popular tourist spot in Tanger. It’s an archaeological cave complex in Tanger. The cave is located at Cape Spartel where the Atlantic Ocean meets the mediterranean. After we continue and drive to Rabat. On the way, we will make a stop at Asilah, it’s a small city in the coast with nice beach that attracts lot of people in summer. It’s medina is small and has some colorful streets. Subsequently, we head the road to Rabat through one of the most important agriculture fields in Morocco.
Rabat – Fes
After Breakfast, we will visit the most important sights in Rabat. We will see Oudaya Kasabah situated at the mouth of Abou Regreg river. It was built at the 12th Century by Almohades for security reasons. We will also see Mausoleum Mohammed V along with the Tower Hassan. The last one was built at the end of the 12th century and was intended to be the biggest mosque in the world at that time. But when Abu Yusuf Yaqub al-Mansur passed away, the construction stopped. The Tower reached half of its intended height 44m (140 ft). So after that we make sure to se the most historical sights in Rabat, we drive to Fes. Ending our imperial cities tour morocco
