Day 1: Fes-Midelt – Erfoud – Merzouga
In the morning, we will start our Fes to Marrakech desert tour. Depart to the amazing Moroccan Sahara Desert of Merzouga. Our first stop will in Ifran, referred to as “the Switzerland of Morocco”. This small city and its buildings’ shape are meant to look like a Europian one due to the annual big snow they have in the region. The second stop will be at the cedar forests of Azrou to see the Barbary Macaque. Then continue to towards Midelt and cross the Tizi-n-Talghamet. Afterward, we will pass by many villages and incredible places such as Errachidia, the Ziz gorges, Erfoud, Rissani. We will stop at some interesting places for pictures such as in Ziz Valley. There you will see a spectacular view over the palm tree groves. Afer, we continue via some Berber villages and Erfoud and arrive to Merzouga desert. Check in to your hotel.
Day 2: Explore the Sahara – Camel ride
After having your breakfast, you will be exploring the Moroccan Sahara, by visiting Khamlia. It is the village of Gnaoua, who are said to come from Sudan and other sub-saharian countries. In order to know them, we will share a cup of mint tea with them, and listen to their unique music. Today, you will have the chance to try Medfouna, the Berber Pizza for lunch. After that, start your camel trekking adventure and enjoy a magical sunset over the dunes of Erg Chebbi. Experience a special night in an equipped Berber camp under the stars. Dinner will be served in the camp.
DAY 3 Merzouga – Erfoud – Todra Gorge – Dades Gorge -Ouarzazate
There is nothing more beautiful than waking up early to see the sun rising over Erg Chebbi dunes. It shines over the sand dunes and changes their colors to create an incredible scenery. You will have breakfast, and shower up, then we will return to the village. Afterwards, start our journey to Tinghir, and the amazing Todra Gorges. These milestone river canyons are wonderful to see and walk between them. After lunch, we will continue to the Dades Valley, where you can admire its wonderful rock formations labeled as Monkey Toes. After that, we carry on to Ouarzazat via Skoura, the road of thousand kasbahs. Overnight in ouarzazate to end this special third day of our Fes to Marrakech desert.
DAY 4: Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech
After breakfast at ouarzazate , we drive to discover the most famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. It is famous and biggest Kasbah in Morocco. It’s called the Hollywood of Africa and is listed as UNESCO world heritage sight. After that, continue across the Mountains of the high Atlas to Marrakesh. Arriving at the city; our tour driver will drive you either to the airport, or the hotel. Ending Fes to Marrakech desert tour.
