Day 1: Fes – Midelt – Erfoud- Merzouga
In the morning, we will start our 7 days Fes desert tour to the amazing Moroccan Sahara Desert Merzouga to stay a night there. We will pass by the Swiss small city of Ifran which is about 1h 20mns from Fes. After that we continue and stop at the cedar forests of Azrou to see the Barbary Macaque at their natural habitat. We will carry on and pass via Midelt where you might want to stop for lunch. We continue our journey along the Ziz valley and stop at one of the best panoramic view along this road to see the big palm grove. In the afternoon, we will pass by the city of Erfoud and arrive at Merzouga desert. check in to your hotel.
DAY 2: Merzouga – Erg Chebbi Dunes
After having your breakfast, you will be exploring the Moroccan Sahara desert area and villages. We will also visit Khamlia, which is the village of Gnaoua. It is said that they came from Sudan and other sub-saharian countries and have been living in Morocco for centuries. We have the chance to share a cup of mint tea with them, listen to their unique music and learn about their culture. After that, you will have an adventure camel trekking to your desert camp, to see the sunset over the dunes of Erg Chebbi. Experience this second night of our Fes desert tour under the stars in the beautiful sahar desert.
Day 3: Merzouga – Erfoud -Todra Gorge – Dades Gorge
There is nothing more beautiful than waking up early to see the sun rising over Erg Chebbi dunes. You will take breakfast, and then, we will return to village and get prepared to start our journey and discover other parts of the authentic Morocco. It includes Tinghir, and the amazing Todra Gorges, these milestone river canyons are wonderful to see and walk inside. After having lunch in the Gorges, we will continue to the Dades Valley, where you can admire its wonderful rock formations labeled as Monkey Toes After that, check in to your hotel.
Day 4: Dades – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech
After breakfast, we start our day driving towards the Rose city and Skoura which is called the road of 1000 Kasbahs. We will also pass through Ouarzazat where the big film studio is located, and continue to visit the most famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. Have lunch around the Kasbah, and then a walk inside this traditional castle. After that, we will continue our journey and drive across the Mountains of the high Atlas to Marrakesh. So we will have a chance to make stops for pictures of spectacular sceneries and exotic Berber villages, and also for a cup of Moroccan tean or coffee whenever is necessary. In the evening, arrive to Marrakech and check in to your hotel where you can relax.
Day 5: Marrakesh Sightseeing
In the morning, start our explorative day tour. We will visit the most important places out there with historical interest. You will visit the Bahia Palace, The Majorelle Gardens, the Koutoubia Mosque, and the souks. In the afternoon, a walk in Jemaa El Fna square. It is considered the busiest square in the city. It offers different kinds of activities to the visitors, such as Musicians, storytellers, snake charmers, and more things to enjoy. After having explored the medina, which is the old part of Marrakech city, we can also have a chance to drive to the new city which is just outside the walls of the old part and have a coffee there or drive around to see what a big difference can be noticed between the two parts.
Day 6: Marrakech – Essaouira
Our 7 days Fes desert tour offers good chance to explore the diversity of Morocco’s sceneries. So after breakfast, we will set off to the coastal city of Essaouira, a picturesque fishing town, lying on the southwest coast of Morocco. Along the way, watch for the famous tree-climbing goats, which signal your entrance into Morocco’s Argan region. With an exquisite beach to the south, Essaouira has become one of Morocco’s most popular coastal towns. Many of the countries woodcarvers and artists make Essaouira their home. In the evening we will return to your hotel in Marrakech.
Day 6: Marrakesh Airport Transfer
