Day 1: MARRAKECH -AIT BEN HADDOU – DADES VALLEY

Start the first day of our 4 days desert tour from Marrakech to Fes and drive via Tizi n Tichka Pass in the High Atlas Mountains (2260m-7414 feet). On our way, we will drive via spectacular landscapes and also special traditional Berber villages. We will make stops and breaks for tea, coffee or, take pictures in special spots. When we pass the Mountains, we can stop to enjoy lunch and have the chance to visit the UNESCO world legacy site at Ait Ben Haddou ksabah. Next on your schedule is Ouarzazate, where Atlas Studios are found and one of the world’s biggest film studios. This city is home to the Kasbah once claimed by the Glaouis family, who ruled Morocco. Later on, the route will take us to the rose city and to Dades valley. Along the spectacular Road of 1,000 Kasbahs and the fields of dates fruits, almond, figs fruits! Spend the night in the hotel at Dades valley.

DAY 2: DADES VALLEY – TODRA GORGES – MERZOUGA

In the morning, we will drive towards the Sahara Desert and straight to the high Todra gorges. When we get to Tinghir city, we will take the road to the gorges which is about 20 minutes drive into the mountains. We will make stops to take pictures of the valley with green fields and old kasbahs and houses along the valley. Upon arrival, you have a chance to walk under the high gorges enjoying the scenery and water stream. It is a popular place for climbers, so you might sight people climbing the high cliffs. After, we will continue our way to the sahara desert of Merzouga though several Berber villages and towns including Tinjedad and also Erfoud which is the gate to the sahara.   Arrive to Merzouga desert the, check in to your hotel.

DAY; 3 MERZOUGA DESERT AND CAMEL TREKKING

After having your breakfast, you will be exploring the Sahara desert of Merzouga. We will visit Khamlia, which is the village of Gnaoua people. It is said that they came from Sudan and other sub-saharian countries centuries ago. So in order to know them, share a cup of mint tea with them, and listen to their unique music. You will be served “Medfouna”, the Berber Pizza for lunch at a restaurant in a village in the sahara. And later on, you will have an enjoyable camel trekking. This is a great chance to see the sunset over the dunes of Erg Chebbi, and learn about locals’ life. Try local fresh food and listen to some local music. You will also experience a special night under the starts in a well decorated equipped desert camp with flashwater and everything. DAY 4: MERZOUGA DESERT- MIDLET – AZROU – FES

Today, you may want to wake up early morning^to see the sunrise and take unforgettable pictures. So  after shower and breakfast, you can ride your camels back to the village or take the car. So we will depart to Fez ending our Marrakch to Fes desert tour. We will pass by the panoramic Ziz Valley, and the cities of Erfoud, Rissani, Errachidia. After that, continue through Midelt which is the apple city. Continue and stop at the cedar forests of Azrou to see the Barbary Macaque, and at the Swiss small city of Ifran. In the afternoon, arrive at Fes, where our tour driver will drive you either to the airport, or to your hotel, ending our Marrakech to Fes 4 days desert tour.
