How to fly to Morocco is one of the questions you would ask when you are planning your trip to the country. In Morocco there are two different main means of transportation: the public transportation that includes (plane, train, taxis, and buses) and touristic transportation. Before flying to Morocco, you should know in advance what are the places you want to visit in Morocco and set an itinerary for that. So that you can decide to fly to the right Airport. In general, there 5 main active international airports In Morocco.

  • Marrakech:            Menara Marrakech Airport.
  • Tanager:                 Ibn Battouta Airport.

Why should I fly to Casablanca Airport?

Mohammed V international Airport is considered the biggest active airport in Morocco. And flying to this airport could be the best easiest choice you have.

First of all. when you are in Casablanca Airport it will be easy to fly to different major cities in Morocco. because there are different lines that connects Casablanca to Marrakech, Fes, Tanger, Errachidia, Laayoune, and Dakhla. In addition to that since Casablanca is considered the economic capital of Morocco, it is not difficult to find your flight from different countries.

Spending some time in the old Medina and its souk is a very remarkable thing that you shouldn’t miss.

  • A day trip to Chefchoune.

Chefchoune is about 4 hours driving from Fes. And doing a day trip to Chefchoun is one of the day trips to do if you want to discover this beautiful blue Pearl. It is better to rent à touristic car and leave early so that you arrive early to Chefchoun and have enough time there. Once you arrive to Chefchoun, you should go to old Medina as it is the most important part. It is the place where the blue allies, the kasbah, shops, restaurants and the square of Outa Hammam. Then you can head to the est to the spring source. And if you want to have a beautiful panoramic view to the town. You can hick to the Spanish mosque that is closed to the spring source.

  • 3 days trip to the Sahara.

In addition to day trips that you can do to Chefchoun, Meknes, Safrou or Ifran, there is the unique tour to the Sahara. If you have many days in Morocco there are plenty tours you can do from Fes but in case you have just 3 days, you still can experience the Sahara by taking a tour to Marrakech via desert or to Merzouga and back to Fes.

Agadir is a costal big city in the southwest of Morocco. there are different places that are not so far from Agadir which you can visit such as: Taghazout, Paradise Valley and Tarodant. Also, agadir is another option to start your tour from as it is not that far from Essaouira and Marrakech.
